It's been a while since our first Rumor Roundup, as nothing significant had been floating around, but when typically reputable sites such as Official Xbox Magazine are reporting obvious rumors as facts, it's time for round two.One source of these rumors is GTAV5FiveSpyWhoEverTheFuck, who, among other absurdly baseless reports, claims that recent "leaks" posted by registered members of GTAForums caused Rockstar to "shut down" the largest GTA fan community on the internet. They also posted last week that a second GTAV trailer was to be revealed on June 4th and that their source was "legit". For those of us with calendars, that would be today, which, in some parts of the world, is already over.
Moving on, the apparent CV of an apparent Rockstar North employee apparently named Jolyon Orme which apparently listed GTAV with an apparent release date of October 2012 is more than apparently FAKE. It's easy to fabricate "proof" of a release date by using a date that's already expected by the majority of the fanbase.
The airplanes seen in this texture found in Max Payne 3 were immediately believed to be screenshots from GTAV. Do they look similar to planes from the GTAV trailer? Sure. Are the models shared data with Grand Theft Auto? It's possible. Are they "screenshots" from GTAV? Not at all.
Finally, Rockstar will likely not be announcing anything at E3, mostly due to the fact that they aren't going to be there. Take-Two will be there to promote Borderlands under the 2K label.
