My fav is gotta be Iowa, I like Subliminal verses but I like Iowa.

They matured so much on that record, some awesome shredding by Mick and James too.

It's awesome.

I still like their s/t effort though.

tbh,i haven't really heard a great deal of slipknot stuff,i thought that their origional and early stuff was pretty good.

you know Slipknot actually has 4 albums?

their first album 'Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat' was released in 1997 with only about 1000 copies made I believe. That was back before their s/t hit was released.

Mate Feed Kill Repeat was a demo....all the songs on it were put on the first album (you might have to find a different version....my version has all of them, but there are like 12 (exaggeration) versions). The first was definately best though.

Iowa because it's fucking amazing. Closely folowed by SlipKnot. I've only heard bits of the third one, not as shouty (I like shouty and sweary as a point) as the first 2, I need to hear more of it.

well it was still an album... over half the songs on it they remade anyway onto their other albums.


Eyeless is a really good song. Did you hear about how they got that quote from the song? its pretty funny.

Anyway those lyrics are so damn stupid, it seems as if the lyrics were just thrown together, they don't make sense and the chorus being so irrelevent to everything else is annoying.

Good riffs though.

yeah while they were in New York some crazy homeless guy was screaming it.

I don't think that song was meant to have any real meaning to it.

Not everything always has to have meaning to it, sometimes you just wanna have fun and do whatever the hell you feel like, lol

other than those some really good ones in my opinion are...

spit it out has good verses, chorus is a bit strange tho but it is a good song.
sur facing has some good parts, the high guitar gets annoyin after a while tho
