Just to give the community an update as to what's been happening around here lately (and to slow down the smilies appearing on the homepage):

The most obvious thing is that we had to start a brand new forum from scratch due to an issue with the database. Yup, 6,000 members and 532,000 posts dating back to 2003, all gone. Awesome, right? We're looking for members old and new to join the new forum and help repopulate it with some vibrant discussions.

Also I'm sure a lot of you have been following our recent series Good, Bad, & Ugly, where we elaborate on features from previous GTA games that should or shouldn't make their way into Grand Theft Auto V. So far we've put out three issues, and thanks to a positive reception we have at least two more forthcoming. Look for the next one on Monday.

Lastly, if you don't follow us on Twitter, you probably should. We tend to report news headlines there, with details following minutes later here on the homepage. It is also one of the easier ways to communicate with us, as well as how to find out when we are playing GTAIV on Xbox LIVE or giving away Rockstar swag.

Now I suppose all that's left is for everyone to stand and applaud as I moonwalk out of the room.

True, we try to join in whenever Rockstar is having a GTAIV multiplayer session on Xbox LIVE, and occasionally we like to send out some random R* stuff whether it be stickers, shirts, keychains, etc.

Good, Bad, & Ugly has been pretty successful so far. I've got issue #4 ready to go and almost done finishing up #5. As you can see I set up a landing page for the "complete series" which will make it easier to link to all of the issues at once

Few odds and ends I'd like to add:

• We are no longer in an agreement with UGO/1Up which explains the temporary lack of advertisements.

• I've put together a JQuery image rotator for 'announcement' purposes, which can be seen on the homepage above the news feed. The slides will be changed periodically when there are news things to announce.

• We will be handing out coupons for 25% off Jay's Chicken Wings, most of which are expired so maybe you will be one of the lucky ones.

• I did some slight editing of the history page - no new information, but just some tidying up to make things a bit more concise. Hopefully everyone here has already given this a read at some point.

Ok, so we've got our new advertisements and they've been implemented. To quote our host:
